Judi Lewis Ockler is a professional actor, vaudevillian, fight choreographer, and stunt performer. As an actor, she has several regional and New York credits, including the title roles in Peter Pan, Sylvia, and Barefoot in the Park. Her work as a stunt performer has put her on the sets of Guiding Light, America’s Most Wanted, Law & Order: CI, and the feature films The Nanny Diaries, Enchanted, and Across the Universe. As a vaudevillian, Judi has over 15 years experience as a special events entertainer. She has developed her own interactive performance pieces, including Mudea!, Fight for the Gloriana, Bold in’er Breeches: The Most Notorious Pirate Queens!, The Little Drummer Boy, and The Radio Hour. Incorporating audience participation, physical comedy, song and swordplay, these shows have toured several US destinations, including the Bristol, Virginia, and Pocono Renaissance Faires, South Street Seaport Museum, and the Hudson River Festival (NYC). Judi is an associate artist of the NYC- based Lady Cavalier Theatre Company, and the Flying Fig Theater Company. She teaches stage combat at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and The School for Film and Television (NYC). She is also a member of Kendall Cornell’s soon-to-be-famous women clown troupe.
